Inside, the original design called for quarter-sawn oak cabinetry to complement the home’s stunning interior doors. As part of our early design process, we always order samples of the exact cabinetry doors in the specified materials and finishes, ensuring our clients know precisely what to expect. After reviewing the samples, the homeowners decided they preferred a subtler, more uniform grain. This led to a thoughtful transition to rift-cut white oak in the same stain color, achieving a refined look that perfectly aligned with their vision.
